The Leaves of Fall

Picture

How can I number them all?

How can I count the leaves of fall?

They don’t fit into one to ten,

Even when I count them again.

So I will rake them in a heap,

Count them when I go to sleep,

Count them while I pile them high,

Count them up into the sky!
